What is included in my retreat registration?
As part of your registration, you receive luxury motor coach transportation to and from the retreat site, 2 nights lodging at The Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay Golf Resort, Spa and Marina; meals and snacks at the hotel; all keynote, workshop and small group sessions; all other retreat activities and a retreat bag (with goodies!). (Note: this does not include “special” activities (e.g. spa) which are fee based. Arrangements for these activities should be made directly with the hotel.)
 
I’ve never been to a retreat; can you give some examples of the activities?
Some of the activities scheduled for the retreat include general sessions, breakout workshops, small group sessions, praise and worship, prayer, meditation, fitness and other fellowship activities.
 
I signed up for a double/triple/quad room, but I do not have a roommate. Will this be a problem?
No, a roommate(s) will be selected for you from the other registrants.
 
What is the retreat attire?
Retreat attire is comfortable, casual. On Saturday, we will wear the retreat T-shirt (for those who have pre-ordered T-shirts), leggings, jeans, or your choice of wear. If you plan to swim or use the Whirlpool, please bring modest swimwear.
 
Will there be any considerations for those with special needs?
Yes, every attempt to accommodate you will be made; however, we are unable to guarantee arrangements. If you require special accommodations due to physical limitations, have trouble walking longer distances, or have food or other allergies, please check the appropriate box(es) on your registration form and specify your needs.
 
Will I have ‘me’ time at the retreat?
Yes, there will be time for personal prayer, meditation and study. In addition, there will be time to take advantage of some of the “special” services the Hyatt Regency has to offer.
 
What time should I arrive at NABCOR on Thursday, October 25th?
You should plan to arrive at 5:30 a.m.
 
What time will we return to NABCOR on Saturday, October 27th?
We should return to NABCOR at approximately 6:00 p.m.
 
Will we stop to eat on the way to the Hyatt?
Yes, we will stop at the Cracker Barrel Restaurant (after exiting the Bay Bridge) on the way to the Hyatt Resort. Please bring your funds for breakfast.
 
I have decided to drive, should I let anyone know?
If you are planning to drive, please let us know immediately, if you have not already done so, in order to remove your name from the bus list.
 
Is there a separate/reduced total retreat cost if I choose to drive my own vehicle (not riding the bus)?
No, there is not a separate/reduced retreat cost if you choose to drive. The total retreat cost is applicable to all attendees.
 
If I choose to drive, is there a fee for parking at the resort?
Self-parking on the resort property is complimentary (FREE). Valet parking is $22 daily plus gratuity. If you require luggage assistance from the Hyatt staff, please be aware gratuity is customary.

How far away is the Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay from Randallstown?
The Hyatt Resort is approximately a 2 hour drive from Randallstown.
 
What type of activities does the Hyatt Resort offer?
The resort features an *18-hole golf course, a *9-hole Frisbee golf course, a *full service spa/salon, indoor and outdoor pools, fitness center, game room, miniature golf, outdoor volley ball & tennis courts, a jogging trail, *water craft rentals & water sports, *bike and hike tours, and *fishing. If you intend to participate in any of these activities, please pack accordingly. *These activities are fee based and arrangements for them should be made directly with the resort.
 
Are retreat T-shirts available for purchase?
Yes, retreat T-shirts are available for an additional cost of $10.00 (S/M/L/XL) or $12.00 (2XL/3XL). They may be ordered via the emailed online Workshop Survey or at the retreat table. Please ensure you have purchased your T-shirt before the retreat, as none will be available at the hotel.
 
Is there a T-shirt size chart available?
Yes – see chart below (How To Choose Your Size: Size refers to your actual body measurement. When in doubt or if you fall in between sizes, order a size up.)
 
 
When will I get the T-shirt I ordered?
You will receive your T-shirt during the registration process at the Hyatt Resort.
 
Will there be exercise classes offered at the retreat?
Yes, there will be exercise classes offered. Please pack exercise clothes and comfortable shoes if you plan to participate.
 
Will I need to bring cash?
At the retreat, the speakers will have books and materials available, if desired to purchase. There is an ATM machine available at the resort.
 
Will there be a place to store valuables in the room?
Yes, each room features an in-room safe where you may store reasonable sized valuables. Additionally, the resort offers safe deposit box service.
 
What other items might I need?
Bring your Bible. If desired, you may bring a notebook or journal, a small pillow (for your kneeling prayer position). You may want to bring an IPod or electronic reader with earphones for private listing to worship music during your one-on-one time with God.
 
Can I bring my nursing infant to the retreat?
Unfortunately we cannot accommodate infants, including breast-fed babies. Baby sounds, even happy ones, can be very distracting during sessions. Therefore, we request that infants and children not attend with their mothers.
