Love God, Love People
You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength. This is the first commandment. And the second, like it, is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these (Mark 12:30).
We are to choose to love God with all our being, and then we can love others more easily. This love for God is the first and great commandment. And when we love God, we won’t have a problem loving other persons, and even ourselves! Authentically loving others and loving ourselves can be accomplished when we love God, truly love Him!
