New Antioch Baptist Church has a strong and vibrant network of spiritual ministries to replenish and revive Believers.

Hospitality Ministry

The Hospitality Ministry desires to follow Jesus’ example, by using the gift of service to encourage fellowship and christian hospitality within our church family, as well as the community. As a ministry, we prepare and issue Thanksgiving food baskets to the community, serve food for special services such as anniversaries, repasts and other occasion as called upon by the Pastor and other ministries of NABCOR.

Media Ministry

The Media Ministry provides audio and video support for New Antioch Baptist Church of Randallstown. We record the sermons of Pastor Barney and guest ministers, and the music from our own NABC choirs and guest choirs. Our mission is to provide sound support for church services, Bible studies, weddings and funerals. We also minister to the spiritual needs of our sick, shut-in members, college students away from home, and the community, by forwarding cds/dvds on a bi-monthly basis.

Nurses Ministry

The Nurses’ Ministry of New Antioch Baptist Church of Randallstown maintains an outreach division. Their duties include visitation of the sick, sending get-well cards, and providing monetary and physical assistance to those members who are bereaved or sick. They administer care within the church and maintain an optimum level of spiritual and physical health.

Security and Traffic Control Ministry

Being a part of the Security Ministry is a direct calling from the Lord. We are called to ensure order and harmony in the church, to extend guidance to individuals seeking help or assistance, and to do whatever is necessary. We must always be ready to respond, protect, and assist in case of an emergency. The Security Ministry is called to protect and assist in case of harm to personal property, theft, or threat to personal life. We are to ensure proper care, consideration, and respect for others. We are to watch, oversee, communicate, and enforce rules regarding safety violations. We also are called to deter hurt or harm to individuals or damage to the church. We guard and secure persons and properties such as the building, doors, alarm, and the parking lots. We have to commit to the day or the evening that we have chosen in order to fulfill our responsibilities as a member of the Security Ministry and to remain on our post until our relief comes if possible. Finally, we are responsible for keeping the hallways clear of loitering during service, unless someone is praying.

Usher Board Ministry

The Usher Board Ministry is a ministry of HELPS. They are the doorkeepers in the house of God. The usher is responsible for putting the congregation in the frame of mind to receive the message. An usher meets and greets worshippers and directs them to comfortable seats. Ushers see that the church is in proper condition to receive the congregation, by seeing that Bibles, church literature, collection envelopes and any items that need to be distributed are in their proper places. Ushers also see to it that perfect order is kept in and around the church at all times during the service. The Usher Board Ministry is always in need of faithful servants 10 years of age and older. Orientation for new members is generally held on the first and second Wednesday of the month at the regular monthly Adult and Young Adult Usher meetings.
